Highpoint Miniso transforms into Marvel themed store

Japan-based retail chain Miniso has brought its Marvel-themed merchandise to Highpoint, with the store being one of the first in the world to stock the new products. Featuring popular characters including Iron Man and Captain America, this is what’s on offer.

Diehard Marvel fans may think they’ve made it to heaven after taking a look at a new superhero-themed store at Highpoint.

Japan-based retail chain Miniso has transformed its store into a haven for all things Marvel, and is one of the first stores worldwide to roll out the new merchandise.

The collection features all of Marvel’s most popular characters including Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, The Hulk and Black Widow.

Superhero-lovers can get their hands on a variety of cool products such as plushies, slippers, car accessories, figurines, air fresheners and pens.

Miniso Highpoint team leader Ben Pan said the range had been “very popular” so far, with the best-selling item being the superhero plushies.

“People are coming in and collecting the whole range of products with their favourite character on them,” he said.

“Even some of our staff are big fans and have been collecting the Marvel merch, especially the plushies.”

Mr Pan said the quirkiest product in the new collection was superhero-themed cutlery.

“It’s got Marvel on it and the people are enjoying it,” Mr Pan said.

The Marvel gear takes up about 40 per cent of the whole store and accompanies Miniso’s line of traditional products.

The whole collection includes up to 600 superhero-themed items.

Miniso Australia vice-president Richard Li said the Miniso store in Highpoint was a key for the rollout of their Marvel products around Australia.

“Miniso and Marvel are very popular to young Australians and we are pleased to be catering to them with both Marvel and our traditional range of products,” he said.

The Miniso chain plans to have 100 Marvel outlets open across Australia by the end of 2020.
