Footscray woman punched in head multiple times in bus attack
A Footscray woman has been punched in the head multiple times after she asked a man to take his feet off her seat on a bus. Police have today released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to over the incident.

A Footscray woman has been punched in the head multiple times after she asked a man to take his feet off her seat on a bus.
The 20-year-old woman was travelling on a Route 220 bus from Sunshine to the city on March 12 when another passenger put his feet on her seat about 10.30am.
The woman asked the man to remove his feet but he stood up and punched her in the head multiple times while the bus was travelling on Footscray Rd in Docklands.
The man then got off the bus at the intersection of Dudley St and Wurundjeri Way in Docklands.
Police said the woman suffered minor injuries.
Police have today released an image and CCTV of a man they believe can assist with the investigation into the assault.
The footage shows an agitated man involved in an exchange with someone on the bus before he gets off the vehicle.
The man police wish to speak to is described as African in appearance, aged between 30-40 years old and about 175cm tall.
He had black afro-like hair with short sides and a comb in it, a beard and diamond earrings.
He was wearing a brown tweed jacket, light-coloured shirt, light-coloured pants, brown leather shoes and carrying a cross-body bag.
