A Broadmeadows man who allegedly stabbed four people in Moonee Ponds in a terrifying daylight attack has fronted court.
Daniel Clavell, 37, appeared in the County Court on Wednesday on seven charges of intentionally causing injury, two of intentionally causing serious injury, one of making a threat to kill and another of fighting in public.
Mr Clavell, 37, is facing seven charges of intentionally causing injury, two of intentionally causing serious injury, one of making a threat to kill and another of fighting in public.
Among those Mr Clavell allegedly injured on August 2, 2023 included shop owner Jianhua Xia and Raymond Robertson, in his 80s, with both taken to The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Two others, Kathy Dostan, aged in her 60s, and a man in his 30s, Jacob Trenton, suffered upper body injuries and were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital.
The other alleged offending happened between June 17 and July 31 in Moonee Ponds and Broadmeadows.
Mr Clavell will be back in court for a trial directions hearing on December 2.
