Cleveland Winery in Lancefield hosts pizza and pooches day

Every dog can have its day at a Lancefield winery, with the launch of Pizza and Pooches Sundays.
Dogs will be welcome at Cleveland Winery every Sunday from September 8 until December 1 while owners can enjoy wood-fired pizzas and local wine at the Carriage House restaurant.
Marketing manager Elissa Hayes said the Pizza and Pooches events were the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of spring.

“It’s just a great opportunity for people to come down and enjoy pizzas on the terrace with their fur babies,” she said.
Ms Hayes said vineyard dog Jack was always a huge hit with visitors.
“He’s always around the place and people just love engaging with him,” she said.
“We thought it would be a great idea to let people bring their own dogs along in the warmer months.”
