THE end of an education era will be marked this Saturday as Kyneton prepares to say goodbye to its historic primary school.
Farewell to Baynton St will offer ex-students and staff a chance to walk through the grounds of the 165-year-old school.
Historic photos and other artefacts have been collected, which will be on display on the day.

Principal Alistair Rayner said the school community was looking forward to the event, which would coincide with its art show.
“It will be a combination of the old and new, but we are certainly hoping past students will come down and share some stories,” Mr Rayner said.
Next year, Kyneton Primary School will relocate to its new Edgecombe St site.
The Farewell to Baynton St event will be held from noon to 4pm.
