A one-woman Mildura crime wave who had previously been warned she would not be getting bail again saw her luck finally run out.

Shaniqua Kirby-Wightman, 20, appeared in Mildura Magistrates’ Court from remand to plead guilty to more than 40 charges.

Kirby-Wightman was arrested, just days after getting bail in the same courtroom, in Irymple.

While in Irymple she stole a gopher from a residential address that was on charge in the owner’s carport.

She also stole a 2019 Nissan Navarro, and was caught on CCTV exiting a stolen Toyota HiLux that was stolen from Langtree Parade in Mildura just days earlier in the car park of the Irymple IGA.

Other offences committed during her crime spree included theft of several cars, numerous bank cards, ID documents, as well as items from various businesses in Mildura.

During one arrest police found her with a syringe full of methylamphetamine.

Kirby Wightman was emotional in the dock, weeping as Magistrate Falla began sentencing her.

She was sentenced to four months imprisonment and was placed on a 15-month community corrections order, to begin when her stint behind bars is completed.

She will also engage with judicial monitoring when released.
