An independent analysis of newly-released 2022 NAPLAN results has revealed the schools which performed the best in the statewide tests.
To determine how each school performed in 2022, the scores for all five test subjects for the student cohort (Grade 5 and Year 9) were combined and the average was found.
In Mildura the best performing primary school was Mildura Christian College with a rank of 237 and average of 527.80.
Coming in at close second was Nangiloc Colignan and District Primary School with a rank of 251 and an average of 527.80
The best performing secondary school in the region was Trinity Lutheran College with a rank of 197 and 586.40.
In second place was Irymple Secondary College 257 and an average of 576.20.
Special schools, schools with fewer than 20 students enrolled, and schools that did not report any results for NAPLAN subjects were excluded from the analysis.
The figures were independently compiled from the Federal Government‘s MySchool website.
