Police are searching for a person after a fire broke at a notorious block of units in Mildura that were also set on fire a week ago.
FRV and the CFA responded to the fire on Tenth St just after 12.30pm on Thursday after a triple-0 call alerted authorities.
Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police also attended the scene.
“Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes, donned breathing apparatus and commenced firefighting operations. The scene was deemed under control at 12.54pm,” an FRV spokesman said.
Police at the scene confirmed they were still searching for the missing occupant. Authorities revealed the same unit was set on fire last week, though the previous blaze caused no structural damage.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed that no one was injured in the fire.
