A BMW driver who allegedly rammed a police car is one of two drivers to be charged over a dangerous driving incident.

Police say a patrol car saw the BMW sedan and a Ford Falcon driving erratically through the streets of Mildura and attempted to intercept.

It’s alleged the driver of the Ford Falcon, a Mildura man, tried to evade police while the BMW driver, Broadmeadows man, “rammed” the police vehicle.

Both vehicles then drove into a paddock where they became bogged and police arrested the drivers at the scene.

The Broadmeadows man, 22, has since been charged with intentionally exposing a police officer to risk by driving and a number of other driving offences.

The Mildura man, 22, was charged with drug driving and failing to stop on police direction.

It’s also alleged the Ford Falcon had fake number plates.

Both men will appear in court in December.
