The CFA were called out after a grass and scrub fire broke out after a shed caught on fire at a property on the Calder Highway near Red Cliffs on Wednesday night.
The blaze broke out about 9.20pm and was declared safe less than 20 minutes later.
Thankfully no one was injured, with the blaze was contained quickly.
With temperatures rising above 40C yesterday – it could have been a much different scenario.
“Three units responded from Red Cliffs and Irymple alongside FRV,” a CFA spokesperson said
“The incident involved a shed fire. The fire was contained to the rear of the property.
“Victoria Police was called to the scene for traffic management, the incident was deemed under control at 9.37pm and declared safe at 10.45pm.”
