An angry Swan Hill man launched a tirade against a female cop before he slammed her arm in a car door, a court has heard.

Anthony Sewell, 54, pleaded guilty to a single charge of recklessly causing injury in the Mildura County Court on Monday.

When he was arrested on March 17 for other matters, Sewell became aggressive to police, yelling “And how long am I going to be fucked around for this time? Like that black c**t, that f***ing n****r who f***s a white chick.”

Sewell also called a police officer a “neo Nazi c**t”.

After climbing into the police van, Sewell kicked the door as an officer was trying to close it, slamming it on her right arm.

This sprained ligaments in her arm and caused a partial tear in her ligaments.

At the time of the hearing Sewell had served 166 days of pre-sentence detention.

“He must have some real anger management issues, your client,” Judge Mark Gamble said. “He clearly has a problem with authority in the form of police, his record seems to show that.”

Sewell will be sentenced on September 7, 2021.
