University students have been graduating in December, just in time for 2025, with their families flocking to venues across Melbourne to celebrate.

Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning – Friday, December 6
The builders of tomorrow descended on the Royal Exhibition Building on Friday, December 6 for the first graduation ceremony of the month.

Medical School, Dental School, and PhDs – Saturday, December 7
The University of Melbourne graduations in December had students graduating from the faculty of medical school and dental school, as well as PhD students, who took centre stage to receive their degrees on Saturday, December 7.
Faculty of Arts (Bachelor degree’s only) – Sunday, December 8
Held outside the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton on Sunday, December 8, these latest crop of students received their academic dresses and the degree papers they worked and studied hard for.
These students studied anything from languages, geography, gender, theatre, creative writing, to art history and more.

Faculty of Business and Economics – Monday, December 9
Held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, these latest crop of students received their academic dresses and the degree they worked and studied hard for.
On Monday, the business and economics faculty graduates received their diploma on Monday, December 9.

Meet the next generation of law, business and economics professionals from the University of Melbourne, as they graduate to earn their degrees on Tuesday, December 10.

Melbourne University’s science students have closed their textbooks and donned a cap and gown for their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, December 11.
