A former Hells Angels bikie has been accused of stealing a shotgun and possessing multiple weapons — breaching a firearm prohibition order.
Dennis Basic, 45, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday via video link from custody facing multiple weapons charges.
Mr Basic allegedly stole a Templeton Arms T2000 shotgun at Croydon on December 5 last year — valued at $1250.
The Narre Warren South man was also charged with possessing two firearms — one being a shotgun which had a modified grip and a black handgun with the serial number scratched off, on April 30 this year.
Mr Basic was also charged with contravening a firearm prohibition order.
He is also accused of possessing firearm related items including a hand gun holster, 12 firearm magazines, large quantities of assorted ammunition, a firearm grip and an ammunition belt.
This was also an alleged contravention of his prohibition order.
Mr Basic also allegedly possessed pepper spray, an extendible baton, slingshot, flick knife and two black folding knives.
He also allegedly failed to comply with police direction.
Mr Basic will return to court on August 21.
