RMIT PhD students were next in line to celebrate their graduations — a milestone they have all waited for.

The graduates made their way to the Storey Hall Auditorium on Swanston St and La Trobe St from 1pm on Friday, and prepared for their ceremony that commenced at 3pm.

The hardworking students dressed to impress, took centre stage to receive their certificates, shared some smiles, laughs with their friends and classmates, reminisced on their journeys at university and have now moved on to their next chapter in life.

The Herald Sun came along to photograph graduates supported by their family and friends.
