Richmond motorcycle crash: Golden Square man killed in Church Street crash

Shocked bystanders watched in horror as a motorcyclist lost control and died in a tragic crash at a busy Richmond intersection.

A Bendigo man has died after losing control of his motorbike and crashing into a wall at a busy Richmond intersection.

Police have been told the motorcyclist lost control of his bike near the intersection of Church St and Brougham St and crashed into a wall about 3.50pm Monday.

Emergency services attended the scene but the rider, a 34-year-old man from Golden Square, a suburb of Bendigo, could not be revived.

Police said a number of witnesses were spoken to at the scene and the investigation was ongoing.
