The spring racing carnival in Melbourne rolls on as ladies flock to Flemington Racecourse for Crown Oaks Day.

Popularly known as Ladies Day, the gates for Oaks Day opened at 10:30am on November 7, welcoming a crowd ready for a lively mix of fashion, betting, and entertainment.

International artist Ronan Keating and Australian star Ricki-Lee performed, adding to a day filled with racing, gourmet food, and festivities.

And the Herald Sun was there to catch all the action.
