Traffic has been thrown into chaos this morning after a high voltage power pole caught fire in West Melbourne this morning.
Fire Rescue Victoria crews were called to the Dynon Rd incident shortly after 6am.
The blaze has been declared under control but crews are still working to extinguish it.

A FVR spokesperson said firefighters would “remain on scene for some time to ensure it is safe”.
Dynon Rd is closed to traffic in both directions between Lloyd St and Kensington Rd and motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
