A Melbourne woman who broke her bail curfew was found to be in possession of drugs and another person’s ID.

Finulla MacSporran, 39, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court from custody on Tuesday, where it was heard that while on bail on October 8, Ms MacSporran went to Knox police station at 9pm, outside curfew hours, to make inquiries about property seized during her arrest the previous day.

On October 10, police searched MacSporran’s home and found a visa card bearing another person’s name, and two small bottles of 1,4-Butanediol.

MacSporran pleaded guilty to charges related to that sequence of events.

In relation to other allegations, the court heard Ms MacSporran had been deemed suitable for CISP, and her lawyer wished to have a bail application heard so the support program could be pursued.

However, the prosecution told the court it was not in a position to consent to the hearing of a bail application on Tuesday, as one had already been scheduled for November 2.

MacSporran was remanded in custody until then, with no application made.
