Brad Canavan is the Lions new senior head coach for their football department for season 2023 and beyond.
He is a two-time premiership coach in Southern league, having guided Bentleigh and Chelsea Heights to flags.
For the past four years Canavan has coached Somerville in the Mornington Peninsula league’s Division 2, taking the Eagles to the preliminary final this year.
Carrum Patterson Lakes announced his appointment on Tuesday.
“Brad is a brilliant tactician and understands what is required to bring success to the CPLFNC,” the Lions said in a statement.
“He is excited about the opportunity to lead a young, developing list.”
