SFNL: League reveals finals venues with two newcomers joining RSEA Park and Mordialloc

Southern Football Netball League has announced its finals venues and dates with two newcomers given the opportunity to welcome potential premiers. See the dates and venues.

Five Southern league venues will host finals with two club’s gaining fresh opportunity to welcome contenders.

RSEA Park will remain as the Division 1 finals host through September 2 to September 23.

The first two weeks of the finals will be played on both Saturday and Sunday.

Division 1 will start, and therefore finish, a week after the rest of the competition.

Division 2 and Thirds, which starts the weekend of August 26, will be held at Ben Kavanagh Reserve in Mordialloc.

Mordialloc has previously hosted Division 2, Division 3 and Thirds, but will drop Division 3 this season.

Skye’s Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve has won the right to host the Division 3 finals.

The Division 3 and 4 campaigns go are a week shorter than Division 1 and 2, and will have their respective grand finals on opposing Saturday and Sunday’s to avoid a crowd clash.

The Division 3 grand final will be held on Sunday, September 10 while the Division 4 grand final will be held on Saturday, September 9.

That aforementioned Division 4 grand final will be held at Heatherton, replacing 2022 host Doveton Eagles.

Women’s Division 1 and 2 will be held at Endeavour Hills and will be run over the course of three weeks.
