Lyndale coach Brendon Groenendyk is set to depart the Southern league club at the end of the 2025 season.
Groenendyk had been at the helm as senior coach since 2024 and led the Pumas to the Division 4 preliminary finals last season, which marked the club’s first finals appearance in a decade.
Lyndale is poised to make a second successive Division 4 finals appearance this season, and sits fourth with a 9-6 record.
“Brendon joined Lyndale in 2021 and has been an integral part of our club both on and off the field,” the club said in a statement.
“Over the past two seasons, he has led our senior side with dedication, and passion, playing a key role in our most recent success.
“We are incredibly grateful for Brendon’s contribution and commitment over the past five seasons and thank him for the impact he has made during his time at the club.
“The remainder of the 2025 season presents an opportunity to finish strongly, and we look forward to supporting Brendon and the playing group as we work towards a successful conclusion to the year.
“We wish Brendon all the very best in his future endeavours and look forward to celebrating his time with Lyndale in due course.”
