Seville has made some key changes since losing to Gembrook Cockatoo by 23 points in the Outer East Division 1 grand final in September.

Notably, the Blues have a new coach, with club great Shaun Wilson replacing Chris Murphy.

Wilson is a 300-game player, life member and premiership player at Seville.

He steps up to the top job after serving as assistant coach this year.

“He showed he is ready to take the next step in his coaching career,” the club posted.

“He brings a wealth of experience and we are excited to see what he can do with our talented playing group in season 2023.”

Vaughan Wheeler will assist Wilson after also being part of this year’s coaching panel.

Former Coldstream coach Adam Dale joins Seville as an assistant coach for season 2023.

“Adam brings a wealth of experience to our club, previously coaching Coldstream seniors for numerous seasons and Coldstream vets to a premiership this season,’’ the club said..

Seville has re-signed club captain and champion Nathan O’Keefe for season 2023.

The former North Melbourne player was averaging five goals and 25 possessions per game in 2022 until he suffered a serious knee injury.

The Blues will welcome him back with open arms in ‘23.

Darcy is a small utility who plays at both ends, he too played seniors at Powelltown, winning a rising star award.

*Hampton Park power forward Jarrod Hardy, who will strengthen the Blues. At 193cm, he can also play ruck.
