OLD Camberwell Grammarians have had their first win of the season with a 59-point victory over Oakleigh in their Premier C clash on Saturday.
Old Camberwell extended its lead at every change, before running out winners 21.17 (143) to 12.12 (84).
Thomas Kanz starred with seven goals, while Declan Mitchell added another five for Old Camberwell.
Phillip Bennett was judged best afield for his efforts, while Ken Darby and Robert Deev also impressed.
Elsewhere in Premier C, Kew lost to Mazenod, 13.14 (92) to 8.12 (60).
St Kevin’s Old Boys continued their lacklustre start to the year with a 40-point loss, 19.11 (125) to 12.13 (85), to Old Xaverians in their Premier clash.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, St Mary’s Salesian had a 30-point win over Therry Penola Old Boys.
After trailing by 15 points at the main break, a dominant second-half performance saw the Saints win, 16.11 (107) to 11.11 (77).
In Division 3, reigning Division 4 premiers Canterbury continued their unbeaten start to the year, sneaking over the line against UHS-VU.
The Cobras got over the line by just four points, winning 13.11 (89) to 13.7 (85).
Also in Division 3, Hawthorn defeated local rival Swinburne University, 27.22 (184) to 9.9 (63), in a one-sided local derby.
And, in Premier B, Old Scotch are set to play St Bedes/Mentone Tigers tomorrow in an Anzac Day clash.
