RED Hill — gunning for its first senior premiership since 1990 — has reappointed coach Jamie Mollo for another two years.
In his first season at the helm, Mollo has the Hillmen sitting in third spot, poised to challenge for the MPNFL Division 2 premiership.
Red Hill football manager Leigh Stafford said Mollo’s educational style of coaching was exactly what the club’s young group needed.

“The timing was good for Jamie to come in,’’ Stafford said.
“We have made a conscious decision to play the kids. We’ve played nine Under 19s in the seniors this year and we’ve had 14 debutants — and they’ve all been under 22.
“He’s doing a great job, we’re pretty rapt with him. We think we are building in all the right ways.’’
Mollo, who was part of Simon Goosey’s coaching panel at the Dolphins and also coached Oakleigh Krushers in the VAFA, said he was thrilled to extend his tenure at Red Hill into season 2020.
“It’s great. I’m really comfortable at the club, the boys are fantastic,’’ Mollo said.
“We can see the kids developing which is really important and we can see sustained success over the next couple of years.
“The club has shown good faith in me and I appreciate it.
“I had no hesitation in saying, ‘yes’. I’m really excited about being there.”
Red Hill takes a seven-game winning streak into round 15 on Saturday. The Hillmen host second-placed Karingal.
