Donvale wins a flag thriller

Despite a few anxious moments, Donvale held its nerve to get the better of Blackburn and win the Eastern Region women’s Division 2 premiership at the Lilydale Sports Oval on Sunday.

First-year Eagles win the flag

Vermont raised the Eastern Region women’s Division 1 premiership silverware and, adding a fair bit of gloss to the success, it was the very first season for most of the players.
