Ruckman Jorden Braddy has put pen to paper with EDFL powerhouse Aberfeldie after impressing during pre-season training.
Braddy played a key role in East Sunbury’s charge to last year’s Division 2 decider and was influential during its maiden finals campaign.
He made 20 senior appearances, kicking eight goals and earning five mentions in the best.
Premier Division club Aberfeldie had been searching for a big man to replace dual premiership player Courtney Johns, who retired after the 2018 grand final win over Keilor.

“He is a quiet kid, but he’s got a really good engine for a big guy,” Abers co-coach Luke Blackwell said of Braddy.
“He is quite handy with his tap work and he works really hard on the track.
“There’s not much more you can ask from a bloke really.”
Braddy’s pursuit of a spot at a higher level had East Sunbury’s full support after he developed into a more well-rounded player last season.
“He’s wanted to go down and train at a higher-level footy club, and good on him. Good luck to him and we hope for the best for him,” East Sunbury coach Glenn Hopkins said in November.
“(This year) he went from being just a ruckman to someone we can play as a key marking forward as well in the finals.
“He’s got some versatility to his game now as well.”
East Sunbury has lost three members of its grand final side with Brad Bernacki (Gisborne) and Connor Lever (Sunbury) having also departed.
The Thunder is chasing a ruckman and key forward to ensure it remains a contender this year after a six-point loss to Roxburgh Park in last year’s decider.
