Lakes Entrance tragedy: Driver charged after Grandmother killed
A grandmother has been remembered as a lovely lady who was a keen lawn bowler and dancer after she was allegedly hit by a car in Lakes Entrance on the weekend.

A grandmother who was killed on Saturday afternoon in a Lakes Entrance street after being hit by a car has been remembered as a lovely lady.
The 83-year-old grandmother was walking on Myer St about 1.40pm when she was struck by a Nissan Tiida.
She was flown to hospital by ambulance but died on the way.
A friend, who did not want to be named, said she was a lovely lady.
“She was a keen lawn bowler and loved her dancing,” she said.
Major collision investigation unit detectives have charged a 37-year-old woman following the incident.
The woman, from Lakes Entrance, was charged with culpable driving.
She has been remanded to appear in Sale Magistrates’ Court today.
