In Championship Division, South Caulfield’s Elliott Bradley and Lewis Mildenhall plundered brilliant centuries in a whopping 207-run second-wicket partnership as South put up 5-285 against Carnegie at Koornang Park.

Elliott made 133 off 194 balls, with 17 blows to the ropes and one over them, while former St Kilda batsman Mildenhall was run out for 100 off 182 balls (with 9 fours).
The pair took the score from 1-14 to 2-221. Later, Souths skipper Luke Russell cracked 18 off 12 balls to bump up the total.
In Division 1, Murrumbeena batsmen Brad Kruger (105) and Troy Lamb (101) blasted their way to sizzling centuries as the Beena amassed 314 against Mentone.
For Kruger, persistence paid off; the ton coming after scores of 98, 95no, 95no, 83 and 76no this season.
For Lamb, it was his 14th hundred for Murrumbeena. He’s been a run machine since returning to the Beena from stints with Melbourne and South Melbourne.
Brighton District’s Jason Oldfield captured 4-29 and Dylan Blignaut took 3-15 off 15.1 to help dismiss Chelsea for 153.
Harley Dale produced a hostile spell to claim five wickets and put Aspendale in control against Old Mentonians in Cricket Southern Bayside Division 1 on Saturday.
Dale (5-19 off seven overs) and Callum Dodson (2-29) had Old Mentonians reeling at 7-48 at stumps, in reply to Aspendale’s 163.
Earlier, Old Mentonians opening bowlers Darcy Brown (5-25) and Robert Tunbridge (4-41) combined to dismiss Aspendale in 60.5 overs, despite an excellent 64 by No 3 Jack Sullivan.
Back in Championship, Hampton was closing in on an overdue win after dismissing McKinnon for 157 and then reaching 0-28 at stumps. Harry Allen collected season-best figures of 3-39 to spark the Seahorses, while Thomas Marron (2-35) and William Bowden (2-19) also impressed. For McKinnon, Adnan Sahibzada top scored with 57.
A patient Chris Hall (56no off 111 balls) escorted Beaumaris to 6-121 at stumps on a rain-affected day against Parkdale. James Seeary was the pick of the bowlers, with 4-29 off 17.
Bonbeach’s bats blazed 9-290 against Bentleigh, with Sean Gales (86) and Bryce O’Connor (51) leading the way with crisp half-centuries. The Sharks made a strong start, motoring to 2-172 as Gales and Shanuka Dulaj (33) shared an 82-run third wicket stand. Opener Will Collard (29) and skipper Tom Smith (26) chipped in as the ladder leaders nudged 300.
In Division 2, Port Melbourne was 6-122 off 54 overs against Hampton after a weather-affected day’s play. Opener Rushith Kundavaram made 43.
