Two men are on the run after a copper heist in Port Melbourne which saw them allegedly pilfer $20,000 worth of the precious metal.

Two men are wanted over a $20,000 copper heist in Port Melbourne.
Investigators believe the pair were driving a silver Ford Territory with a trailer attached when they drove into the Bridge St scrap metal yard about 3.30am on February 23.
The men allegedly loaded a large amount of copper — valued at up to $20,000 — into the trailer before driving off.
Detectives from Port Phillip crime investigation unit have released CCTV images of two men they believe can help them with their investigation.
