Four people arrested during power tool theft raids in Port Melbourne, Moonee Ponds
More than $400,000 worth of power tools have been seized in raids in Port Melbourne, Broadmeadows and Tullamarine. Four people have been arrested over the expensive stash.

A Port Melbourne man is among four people charged over a major Melbourne tool theft racket.
About $400,000 worth of stolen power tools were seized during police raids on properties in Port Melbourne, Moonee Ponds, Broadmeadows, Wildwood and Tullamarine on September 23.
Electrical equipment, two motorbikes, two tandem trailers, two excavators and various amounts of drugs were also found at the properties.
A 25-year-old Broadmeadows woman has been charged with trafficking methylamphetamine, and GHG, drugs possession and driving offences. She has been bailed to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on June 8, 2021.
A 24-year-old Yallambie woman has been charged with possess drug of dependence and bailed to appear at the Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on February 19, 2021.
A 40-year-old Port Melbourne man has been charged with possess proceeds of crime and possess imitation firearm. He has been bailed to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on June 8, 2021
A 38-year-old Broadmeadows man has been charged with handle stolen goods, possess proceeds of crime, trafficking methylamphetamine, possess material for trafficking a drug of dependence and possess precursor chemicals.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on September 24.
