Even a global pandemic can’t keep crooks away but there’s one rule not even alleged thieves and fraudsters are willing to break — the wearing of mandatory face masks.

Crime Stoppers Victoria chief executive said offenders were “taking advantage” of the health regulation to make it harder to identify them on CCTV footage.

But she said while it was harder, it wasn’t impossible.

“The people who know them will still recognise them,” she said.

“Offenders will change clothes, but they have the same shoes that they will often wear.”

Here are some of the most wanted alleged COVID crims.
