The scary incident happened in Aspendale on Sunday afternoon and left the driver of the luxury car needing CPR from bystanders, an act which likely saved his life.

The man in his 50s was taken to Frankston Hospital in a critical condition while his son, who was also in the car, was fortunate to escape with only minor injuries.
Edithvale CFA responded to the incident and its officer in charge Graham Fountain said the result could have been a lot different if not for the work of bystanders.
“Upon arrival within minutes we were confronted with a vehicle that had hit and snapped off a power pole at ground level and then rolled,” he said.
“As well as live power lines on the ground, bystanders performing CPR on the unconscious male driver and his younger son who suffered minor injuries.
