An allegedly boozed-up P-plater has had her car impounded after she was caught allegedly zooming along CityLink with two toddlers on board.

Police pulled over the 23-year-old Braybrook woman after they noticed her grey sedan travelling west on the toll road in South Yarra at 10.50pm on June 6.

Prahran highway patrol officers detected her driving allegedly 50km/h over the speed limit, with the car clocked at 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.

The woman had two toddlers on board, both aged under two years.

She underwent a preliminary breath test and was found to be allegedly more than double the legal blood alcohol limit, after she recorded a reading of .111.

Officers immediately impounded her car for $30 days at a cost of $878.50.

The woman is expected to be charged on summons with speeding, drink driving and traffic offences.
