Police hunt sex offender who exposed himself to young woman
Police have urged Hawthorn residents to be vigilant, as they scour the area for a sex pest who has been on the run for five days. They have also released an image of the suspect.

The Hawthorn community is on high alert, with a sexual predator who exposed himself to a woman in broad daylight last week still on the run from police.
The man, aged about 50-60, flashed the shocked 20-year-old woman in a laneway near Auburn Railway Station on Wednesday about 9.10am.
He then followed her, but eventually headed west on Burwood Rd.

Police described the man as caucasian, about six feet tall, with a tan complexion and whitish-grey unkempt hair.
He was wearing a grey shirt and navy trackpants.
Camberwell Senior Constable Gould urged the community to keep safe and remain vigilant at all times.
