A Malvern East man has been busted after he allegedly used phone apps to pedal cocaine around town for four months, along with other drugs.

Stonnington detectives arrested two men and allegedly seized more than $60,000 in drugs and cash during house raids on January 27.

They arrested a 22-year-old Malvern East man at a home in Hughes St, along with a 29-year-old Frankston man at a home in Mulberry Crescent.

The haul included 3.8kg of cannabis and 3kg of GHB, along with cocaine, ice, steroids and ecstasy and viagra pills, and $4300 cash.

Prahran detective Acting Senior Sergeant Peter Brezing said the arrests were part of Operation Collateral – which targeted individuals allegedly trafficking drugs through phone apps.

Acting Sen-Sgt Brezing said the Malvern East man had allegedly been trafficking cocaine from October 2020 until January 2021.

He was charged with a series of drug offences, including four counts of trafficking, and possessing proceeds of crime.

The Frankston man was charged with drug offences including two counts of trafficking, cultivating cannabis and possessing proceeds of crime.

Acting Sen-Sgt Brezing said both men were remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in April.
