Jockey sets fashion stakes as Leader launches Caulfield Cup Facebook competition

EVEN the jockeys are embracing fashion for the Caulfield Cup carnival and Leader has a $400 double ticket up for grabs with a new Facebook competition.

SPRING racing fever is in full swing, with this year’s Caulfield Cup carnival shaping up to be a fashionable event.

Kicking off with Guineas Day on October 11, the carnival culminates with the $3 million Caulfield Cup on Saturday, October 18, the world’s richest handicap race on turf over 2400m.

The Chadstone Fashion Stakes’ grand final will be staged on the day, with more than $100,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

Readers have the chance to join in the festivities with a double members ticket to the Caulfield Cup, valued at $400, up for grabs.

Just like the Caulfield Leader Facebook page, and while you’re there you must tell us what you most like about the Caulfield Cup to be eligible to win.

Entries close at 9am, Tuesday, October 14 and the winner will be notified on the same day at the Caulfield Glen Eira Facebook page.

Entry is available to Australian residents aged over 18 years via the Caulfield Glen Eira Leader Facebook page.

You must like the page at the time of the draw and comment on the Caulfield Cup Facebook Competition post on your favourite aspect of the Caulfield Cup to be eligible to win.

This competition opens on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 and closes at 9am on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

The winner’s name will be announced on Facebook before noon on the same day.

If you do not wish your name to be published, please do not enter.

No discussions with be entered into regarding the draw winners.

Winners must respond by 9am on Wednesday October 15, 2014.

If there is no response from winners by 9am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, a second-chance draw will be undertaken.
