Chadstone: Power St police incident brings Glen Waverley line trains to a halt
Train services have resumed on the Glen Waverley line after police dealt with a person believed to have been suffering from a mental health issue.

A person has been arrested and is being assessed in hospital after a police incident near Holmesglen railway station.
Services have resumed on the Glen Waverley line after initially being suspended between Darling and Glen Waverley railway stations following the incident at about 1.30pm on Monday.
The Department of Transport ordered replacement buses to take stranded passengers between the two stations before the scene was cleared about 2.45pm.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said a man was in custody and had been taken to hospital for assessment.
The spokeswoman earlier said officers were “negotiating with a suicidal female at Power St, Chadstone.”
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics treated a person in their mid-teens, and they were taken to Monash Hospital in a stable condition.
Glen Waverley line passengers have been asked to check platform displays and listen for announcements as services resume, and to be wary of extra pedestrians and buses around stations.
