A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital after a single vehicle crash in the Goulburn Valley overnight.

A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital following a horror crash in the Goulburn Valley on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash on Hawdon Rd in Wyuna at about 2.45am, locating the injured 18-year-old.

It’s believed she was the sole occupant of the car at the time, with the vehicle leaving the road and striking a tree.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the teen was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with an upper body injury.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Minor flooding warnings have been issued after severe thunderstorms hit areas in northern Victoria on Monday.
