Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court: Joshua Williams allegedly assaulted a man to death with a golf club
A Benalla teenager who allegedly assaulted a 63-year-old man with a golf club — who later died from his injuries — has fronted court.

A Benalla teenager accused of attacking a man — who later died — with a golf club has faced Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court.
Joshua Williams, 19, has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury and affray after the 63-year-old man was found lying injured on Ballintine St at 7.10am on October 11.
The man later died from his injuries in hospital 17 days after the alleged attack.
The man had reportedly been riding a modified ride-on mower earlier on the night before he was found seriously injured
Magistrate Peter Mithen adjourned the matter to December 11, 2023.
