Tasmanian motorcyclist, 61, killed in collision with 4WD in Tatura, Vic
A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with an elderly 4WD driver, in one of two incidents involving cars and bikes in the Goulburn Valley.

A motorcyclist in his 60s has died following a collision with a 4WD in the Goulburn Valley.
Emergency services responded to the collision at Rushworth-Tatura Rd in Waranga Shores, near Tatura, about 3pm on March 17.
The rider, a 61-year-old man from Lutana in Tasmania, died at the scene.
The 4WD driver, a 87-year-old Nagambie man, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He has been bailed to appear at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on March 24.
The incident was one of two collisions involving motorbike riders to occur in the Goulburn Valley on Friday.
Hours later, a car and a bike collided on Minerva St in Mansfield about 8pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics treated a man in his 50s for a chest injury, and he was taken to Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton in a stable condition.
The driver of the car was uninjured, and investigations into the collision are continuing.
The Tasmanian man’s death brings Victoria’s 2023 road toll to 76 lives, 25 more than the 51 deaths recorded at the same time last year.
