Shepparton Magistrates’ Court: Judy-Anne Argaet guilty of failing oral fluid test
A woman who was pulled over and recorded a positive result ice told a court she doesn’t touch drugs and blamed it on a mate who was smoking the vile drug.

A Shepparton mum has told a court she tested positive to meth after being pulled over by police because was hanging around a friend who had been smoking the drug.
udy-Anne Argaet, 50, pleaded guilty to failing an oral fluid test at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Argaet was driving a white Holden sedan on Macisaac St in Mooroopna when she was pulled over by police about 2.57pm on March 19 this year.
Argaet produced her licence and underwent a preliminary oral fluid test that returned a positive reading for methamphetamine, the court heard.
Argaet was required to take another test which also returned a positive reading.
The court heard she told police she didn’t know she had drugs in her system.
Argaet added she was with a friend who was smoking methamphetamine the day before she was pulled over and that she doesn’t touch drugs.
She said her mum recently died and she is caring for her twin brother.
Magistrate David Faram convicted and fined Argaet $500 and her licence was disqualified for 12 months.
