Shane David Wilson fails to front Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on child
A Yarrawonga man charged with the sexual assault of a minor has failed again to front court in Shepparton.

A Yarrawonga man accused of sexually assaulting children has failed to front court again after skipping court earlier in the year.
Shane David Wilson, 47, failed to appear in the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on May 17.
Mr Wilson faces 23 charges relating to the sexual penetration and indecent acts towards a child between 2013 and 2018.
The alleged offending occurred in Narre Warren, in Melbourne’s outer east, and Cobram, about 30 minutes up the river from Yarrawonga.
Mr Wilson had missed a previous court date on January 30, 2024.
He was charged on July 31, 2023 by Wangaratta’s sex offence and child abuse investigation unit.
Mr Wilson is due to face court at a later date.
