A man has sustained serious injuries after a crash in the Goulburn Valley, just outside Shepparton.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash between a car and a tree in Stanhope near Hill Rd, just after 5pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated a man believed to be in his 30s for serious chest injuries.
He was flown to the Royal Melbourne hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police believe the incident was due to a medical episode.
