Armed police have been spotted in a Shepparton street, reportedly trying to get an occupant to leave their home.
Police were seen in Halpin Crescent about 9.30am Wednesday, with neighbours reporting the northern end of the street was blocked off to traffic.
A neighbour reported hearing police asking an occupant of a home to exit the front door with their hands in the air three times but the occupant did not respond.
The incident now appears to be over.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said police were in the street in relation to an ongoing investigation.
