Fifteen CFA crews battled a grass fire on the Goulburn Valley Hwy in Numurkah.
Firefighters were on the scene about 3pm on Thursday, with units from Katunga, Strathmerton, Tallygaroopna, Wunghnu, Waaia, Drumanure, Kaarimba and Numurkah responding.
A water bomber was called in to help control the blaze that engulfed a shed.
The fire was brought under control at 3.51pm and declared safe at 4.09pm.
A CFA spokesperson said the fire may have been started by agricultural equipment.
