A person has been killed after a horror collision between a car and truck just south of Bendigo, with the car bursting into flames.

A person has died after a horror collision between a car and a semi-trailer south of Bendigo.
Emergency services have been called to the scene of a fatal two-vehicle collision in Lockwood just before 4pm, after a truck and a car collided on the Calder Alternative Highway near Hurst Rd.
The impact of the collision caused the truck to roll, and the car to catch fire, killing the car’s driver.
The truck driver, in his 30s, was taken to Bendigo Health in a stable condition for observation.
The exact circumstances of the collision are yet to be determined.
Police say there are “a lot of units” at the scene, and are urging people to avoid the area.
Roads in the area will be closed for some time.
