Shepparton man, 39, flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after collision at Wunghnu

A Shepparton man whose car clipped a truck remains in a critical condition as police investigate the collision in the state’s north.

A Shepparton man remains in a critical condition after suffering life-threatening injuries following a collision in the state’s north.

The 39-year-old man, driving a Toyota HiLux, clipped the back of a truck at 11.20am on August 9 and was flown to hospital.

The collision occurred at Wunghnu, north of Shepparton.

The driver of the truck, a 62-year-old Caroline Springs man, was not injured and stopped at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.

Cobram Highway Patrol are investigating the matter.
