CFA responds to large hay shed fire on Plozzas Road Upotipotpon

Firefighters have responded to a shed fire in Victoria’s north east, where about 50 hay bales caught on fire.

Five CFA units were called to the incident on Plozzas Rd Upotipotpon, north of Violet Town, about 1.40pm on Monday.

A CFA spokesperson said crews from Violet Town, Earlston and Koonda discovered the shed was fully alight.

The incident was deemed under control at 2.10pm and crews were able to contain the fire to the shed.

The spokesperson said crews would remain on scene to black out the area.
