A man has fronted court accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the state’s north.
Blake Bondeson, 22, fronted the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on May 28 for a committal mention.
Mr Bondeson is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at Koonoomoo on July 25, 2022, including being charged with forcing her to perform oral sex on him.
Mr Bondeson was charged on March 15, 2024 by the Wangaratta sexual offences and child abuse investigation unit.
Koonoomoo is about 8km from Cobram and sits in the Moira Shire.
The matter was adjourned by Magistrate Amini Bhai and Mr Bondeson will face court again on June 25.
