A teenager flown to hospital after a vehicle struck a tree near Echuca remains in a critical condition.

The man was flown to hospital on Wednesday afternoon after emergency services were called to the scene of a traffic accident at Wharparilla about 1.40pm.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed a woman and two men in their teens were treated at the scene for injuries.

“The woman and one of the men have been taken to Bendigo Hospital by road, both in a stable condition,” the spokesperson said.

“The other man has been flown by air ambulance helicopter to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.”

It follows a horror incident in Arcadia South, near Shepparton, on Tuesday night when a three-year-old boy was struck while riding his bike.
